‘a true togetherness…. One marvellous utterance followed by another.’
The Sunday Times  (March 2018)

‘Subtle yet responsive readings of Haydn, Bartók and Schubert show why
this ensemble has been so durable’  The Financial Times
The Doric String Quartet is now firmly established as the leading British string quartet of its generation, receiving enthusiastic responses from audiences and critics across the globe.  Their last visit to Penzance left the audience blown away by the intensity, consistency and sheer panache of their performance.
Ten years ago, the Doric Quartet was an excellent young competition-winning quartet, but now the musicians have become seasoned professionals in the prime of their careers, greatly admired by musicians and audiences alike and with a list of concert engagements that reads like a world travel guide.
